The three children reportedly saw the virgin Mary six times between May 13 and October 13.  She promised a miracle for her last visit, and indeed thousands saw what we call the “Miracle of the Sun.”  You can see all three children, Our Lady and even a ‘spinning’ sun in the coloring page.  Surrounding the coloring page is a boarder with 50 spinning suns for 5 decades of the rosary.  When Mary appeared to the children she urged them to pray the rosary and pray for an end to war. Our Lady of Fatima is at the bottom in bubble letters so you can even color them!

If you don’t already have it, this is the time to get “The Day the Sun Danced,” a CCC of America movie.  My kids love the CCC movies and we have the whole collection!

And if you like that, be sure to check out the two free videos they have on the CCC of America website!  Learn the Fatima prayers and pray them with your little ones!

And because I love you all, I have a special gift for one of you: A copy of the CCC of America The Day the Sun Danced.  If you would like to try to win this DVD, all you have to do is share this post with a friend (it can be facebook, pinterest, or just let them know about all the free printables on Drawn2BCreative next time you’re at the playground), then leave me a comment on this post!  I’ll pick a random winner next Monday, May 8th.  That way I have enough time to mail it to them to enjoy on May 13th.  I’ll email the winner to get their address. I’m sorry this promotion is over!  But you should still get a copy of the CCC movie if you can (and feel free to share this post with your friends anyway 😉

I pray no matter what you do this year while learning about Fatima, you grow closer to Our Father in Heaven and the Blessed Mother.

Hi! I love your coloring pages and can’t wait to share them with my kids, but no matter what I seem to do, I am not able to print the pages. When I click on the coloring page links on your website, it takes me to a dark gray screen. I have a pdf converter but have been unsuccessful in using it on these coloring page links. I do not have adobe acrobat, and it seems that I would have to pay over $100 to get it. It there any other solution? Thanks!

That is so strange. You should not need a pdf converter, just a program that can open pdf files. Usually these open up in your internet explorer (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc) and you can print it from there. Sometimes if you print from your internet browser the bubble letters don’t show up correctly which is why I recommend using Adobe. Adobe Acrobat reader is free, you can download it here https://get.adobe.com/reader/ I hope this helps!

    Kristen,
Thank you so much for your quick response to my request yesterday! The children will love these mini books! I can’t wait to see their response to the pin wheels…I’ll be careful with the push pins! 🙂 I’ve shared your page on Facebook.

    Cathy
