Scripture Valentines Day Cards! (Free ones!)

I put together some simple scriptural valentines day cards for you and your little ones to enjoy! If you’re looking to save some pennies this valentines day, or just save yourself the hassle of going out to get cards, then these are for you!

Scriptural Valentines Day Cards for kids and adults!

I drew in ink, and then digitally colored a swirly tree with hearts and a waterfall with hearts. Love comes from God and without him we have no love, so what better way to celebrate Valentines day than by remembering His love for us?  The two verses I chose for these cards are: “Nothing can separate us from the love of God.” Romans 8:39 and “God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:5.

The cards for kids are the smaller, no folding ones- just like what you would buy in the store and tear apart.  Eight cards are printed per page (four with the tree and four with the waterfall), and the scripture is written in a fun font with hearts for all the ‘O’s. (I wish I could use that font ALL the time)  Click, download, and print as many as you need.  I recommend cardstock, but you could also print it on the back of pretty scrapbook paper.  Your kiddos can write their own message on the back.

Scripture Valentine's Day Card for AdultsThe grown-up version has the same tree and waterfall, and the same scripture but in a more adult font.  They print 2 per page (one with the tree and one with the waterfall), and then you fold them in half, like a normal greeting card.  Completed, they are the size of  1/4 sheet of paper, so they fit in an A2 size envelope.  Write your own love message inside 🙂

If you are anything like me, then having something easy to print and use right away is ideal.  I almost always forget Valentine’s day until it’s the day before.  Plus there’s a small part of me that hates paying $4 for a card, even if it is a super sweet gesture.  I would rather spend that money on chocolate, or chocolate, or…. maybe…. chocolate….did I mention I like chocolate? When they make chocolate cards you can eat, I’ll be more inclined to spend money on them. Anyway, I hope these help you celebrate Valentines Day in a no-stress kind of way!

I pray you are able to share God’s love with one another this Valentines day!
