Today I thought I would share my minibook with the Sorrowful Mysteries in it!

This is one of the minibooks in my Mini Rosary Books download. These minibooks have been an awesome tool in our family for praying the Rosary together.  As we say the prayer together my daughter colors in the corresponding bead.  Instead of counting beads, she gets to color one, which is a little more involved- keeping her focused.  This year we added the  Rosary Cards for Kids from the Kennedy Adventures, to our prayer time.  Sometimes we make it all the way through a full Rosary, but most of the time we just do a decade together.  I love the cards because they have pictures- which are helpful to my daughter.  When we say a decade together, I pull out the corresponding card so we can look at the picture while we pray.  When we’ve finished the decade, I read the back of the card to her, and sometimes we discuss the questions on them.

Rosary Time Basket

Our Rosary ‘stuff’ all lives in a basket that gets put out of reach of the 1 year old when not in use.  We have the Rosary Cards for kids, the mini-books (some of the colored in ones and several blank ones for coloring), a big wooden rosary for the 1 year old to play with, my rosary, and a fresh set of crayons (they ONLY get used during rosary time- which makes it even more special).

However you do it, praying the rosary will bless your family!  I hope this mini-book, and glimpse into our prayer time helps you!
