Lent Stations of the Cross

40 Days of Free Lenten Printables: The last set of Stations of the Cross grottos

Thank you for sticking with me this whole time!  I’ve enjoyed making each of these grottos for the Stations of the Cross, and I’ve personally enjoyed the conversation it’s spurred with my 4 year old.  Here are the last 2 stations for you to print!

If you haven’t been with me the whole time, you’ll want to go back and check out the previous posts with the printable stations:

Stations of the Cross: Stations 1 and 2 Post

Stations of the Cross: Stations 3 and 4 Post

Stations of the Cross: Stations 5 and 6 Post

Stations of the Cross: Stations 7 and 8 Post

Stations of the Cross: Stations 9 and 10 Post

Stations of the Cross: Stations 11 and 12 Post

They were a lot to put together, with the drawing/scanning/coloring and photographing, but I really think they’re neat and well worth it for my family.

The printable grottos are small, so easy to store, plus they didn’t require any popsicle sticks, glitter or really any craft supplies besides coloring pencils and tape (or glue dots if my kids hadn’t run off with them). We’ll be setting these up around our dining table for Stations of the Cross tomorrow, and definitely next Friday.

I’m planning to use the same illustrations to make some Stations of the Cross mini-books for coloring, and a coloring page, sometime in the future, so make sure you visit often!  Check back at my Free Printables Page!

Thanks and God bless,

  1. Yay!!! I have the complete set!!! And I love how you set yours up with the candles! So beautiful! I will probably need to use flameless ones, but still, it will definitely add some “drama”! Thanks, again!
