I am SO excited to present these awesome coloring pages for YOU! Yes, that “you” is directed at you moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles or really anyone interested in adult coloring. But this time, you can color Catholic Prayers. I love all the pretty designs out there, however several of my friends have had concerns over the Mandala Designs which are the basis of many adult coloring pages (here’s an article talking about it). I have seen a couple Christian coloring pages out there, but so far none specifically for the Catholic Christian, so I’m super excited to present you with these!
Not only are they Catholic and include Adult coloring, but since many of my readers are mommies (much like myself), you aren’t typically coloring alone are you? So I included simplified versions of the same coloring pages for you to print for your kiddos. Now when you’re soaking up some sun, or need some quiet time indoors this summer, print these out and enjoy time coloring with your little ones. Your kids will love that they get to color pages ‘just like yours’ but that have been made easier. My favorite one is the Divine Mercy coloring page. This year, I’ve had a lot of anxiety (probably mainly due to pregnancy hormones), and this short prayer has been one that I’ve said maybe thousands of times by now. I pretty much colored this AS soon as I finished drawing it, I was so excited.
My daughter and I, ‘beta’ tested these, and I have to say she really enjoyed it! Ever since finishing up the coloring pages, she’s asked to color them everyday!
Five popular Catholic Prayers have been illustrated in 10 coloring pages. For each prayer, both a simple child-friendly version AND an adult, more detailed version are included. The first phrase of the prayer is written out along with designs or pictures to color in, for hours of coloring fun.
