Trojan Horse Printable

Ok, I know I have mostly stuck to the Catholic printables, but I warned you a couple months ago that I hope to put all sorts of educational printables here.  After finding some kinda complicated looking Trojan horse crafts online (I steer away from any craft involving skewers…), I made my own simple cut and glue/staple Trojan Horse Printable.

It’s pretty strait forward.  After you’ve taught about the Trojan War, pull out this printable and have fun coloring and gluing the Greek soldiers ‘inside’ the wooden horse.  Cut off the bottom of the paper on the dotted line.  Cut out the box of soldiers and glue them into the middle of the horse.  Cut out the wooden slats box, and glue JUST the top edge (or staple it) above the soldiers.  Once it’s dry, you can fold the flap up to show the soldiers hidden in the horse.

It’s easy, printable and no one will poke their eyes out with skewers! After all I prefer my skewers with shrimp on them, not horse.

For anyone doing Catholic Schoolhouse, these go with Week 5’s History timeline. 🙂

Thanks for coming!

Kristen

Cute! This would be a fun and easy craft for homeschoolers studying this time period of history.
