This is certainly one that kids have plenty of opportunities to practice this with each other and especially younger siblings. When you teach about this act of mercy, you can also remind your kids that patience is a fruit of the spirit! Sometimes it’s hard to put up with other people wronging you, whether they are taking your toys as kids or gossiping behind your back as an adult. But no matter what the wrong is, we are called as followers of Christ to bear those wrongs patiently. Forgiving others, and having patience with them is not the same thing as saying they are right, it’s simply choosing to not let their sins cause you to sin.
